The Miami Dade Police Department Metropolitan Police Institute (Training Bureau) Fitness Center is dedicated to providing you with an outstanding, state of the art, safe facility to reach your fitness goals.

Being physically fit gives you personal confidence, additional energy, reduces stress and fuels your health. The Training Bureau Fitness Center is here to help you accomplish all this and even more.

Free weights, strength training, racquetball courts, basketball, spinning classes, aerobics, Pilates, Yoga, mind & body wellness training, expert advice and many other items are all here for you today.

What is Body Rolling?

Body rolling is a new concept in fitness using a 10-inch ball designed exclusively for this practice. Working with the body's own gravity, the exercises ease movement to the point of relaxation, with the benefits of a deep self-massage.

Body rolling is a great stress / tension reliever for the prevention of headaches, lower back problems, sciatica, neck & shoulder tension; bringing rapid relief, increased blood flow, relaxation & healing to tired, achy, overused muscles.

Body rolling stretches, tones and realigns your whole body as well as developing core strength. It will help you feel better, gain strength and eliminate pain. You will feel relaxed and energized at the same time, and simple movements like walking and standing become effortless.

With body rolling, the knots & twists that create everyday tension literally roll away! An initial sign-up / ball purchase is required to participate in this class.
